The Cowboy Channel‘s Katy Lucas took to the streets of Fort Worth, Texas, to ask visitors what it means to be an American Cowboy.

RFD-TV’s own Susanne Alexander shared her personal admiration for the hard work and dedication it takes to be a true American Cowboy this Friday on Market Day Report.

“Having toured with the PRCA for eight years, and seeing cowboys compete. They are “God, Family, Country;” hardworking and loyal,” Alexander said. “There’s a Conway Twitty song, ‘Don’t Call Him A Cowboy Till You See Him Ride,’ and I’ve been fortunate to watch the best of the best compete on the dirt--and that goes for cowboys outside the arena too! We are thankful for all of the hard-working and dedicated cowboys out there. We salute you!”
