A Wisconsin county is using cheese brine to treat its roads this winter!
The liquid is 23 percent salt, and proponents say it is better for the environment. The cost savings are big, too. Cheese brine costs around $3 a mile, compared to $15 for rock salt.
The County has already used more than 75,000 gallons of cheese brine.
