INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA (RFD NEWS) —National FFA Organization CEO Scott Stump has been inducted as an honorary member of Purdue University’s Alpha Gamma Rho chapter.

Alpha Gamma Rho (AGR) is a national social and professional fraternity focused on developing leaders in agriculture, food, and related industries. Stump called the recognition an honor and acknowledged the friendships he has built through AGR and the organization’s role in shaping future leaders, just like FFA aims to do.

“It’s an incredible honor to be inducted as an honorary member into this high-standing organization at Purdue,” Stump continued. “Institutions like Alpha Gamma Rho play an important role in shaping leaders in agriculture, and I’m grateful to join this brotherhood of men who are passionate about advancing the future of our industry.”

The fraternity has strong ties to FFA, with members who include former sponsors and donors to the National FFA Foundation and FFA’s Board of Trustees.

The National FFA Organization serves more than a million student members across over 9,400 chapters nationwide.
