NASHVILLE, Tenn. (RFD News) — Reliable internet access could soon unlock new opportunities for rural youth through a partnership between 4-H, Tractor Supply and Starlink.
National 4-H Council President and CEO Jill Bramble and John Ordus with Tractor Supply Company joined us on Thursday’s Market Day Report to discuss the initiative, which selected 10 states and will reach 100 rural communities.
In their conversation with RFD News, Bramble said the selected communities will receive free Starlink kits to use locally, with 4-H members working alongside educators and mentors on community projects.
Ordus says Starlink kits are also available at Tractor Supply stores and online, with the first month’s payment supporting local 4-H programs.
