Ohio Family Celebrates More Than 100 Years of Farming

From cattle to hay production, the Dunfee family continues a tradition spanning generations.

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (RFD-TV) — Keeping a family farm running for more than a century takes dedication, something the Dunfee family knows firsthand.

Dean and Loretta Dunfee’s family has cared for Trails End Farm for more than 100 years, earning recognition as a Century Farm. Ohio Ag Net recently highlighted the family’s history and the work involved in maintaining the operation across generations.

The operation continues today with cattle and hay production, as family members balance farm responsibilities with careers outside agriculture.

Tens of thousands of Century Farms are recognized across the United States, with Iowa leading the nation at more than 21,000.
