WHEATON, MINN. (RFD NEWS) — The U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) is drawing renewed attention as the six-year review approaches, with farm groups emphasizing its importance for maintaining stability in agricultural trade.

Jamie Beyer with the American Soybean Association (ASA) joined us on Wednesday’s Market Day Report to discuss producer perspectives on the agreement and what is at stake for soybean growers as the review period nears.

In her interview with RFD News, Beyer discussed her recent testimony at a hearing focused on USMCA and the message she delivered to lawmakers and the administration regarding the importance of maintaining strong trade relationships for U.S. agriculture.

She also addressed the stability the agreement has provided to soybean growers since its implementation and its role in supporting export markets.
