Ag Sec. Brooke Rollins to release a plan of attack for HPAI this week, holds roundtable with farmers

Ag Secretary Brooke Rollins will release a new plan of attack for High-Path Avian Flu, and USDA officials tell us an announcement is expected sometime this week.

In the meantime, she has been talking with producers and touring an egg layer facility to see exactly what they are up against.

Rollins was back in her home state of Texas, touring a Cal-Maine Foods egg-laying facility, and then met with farmers. Rollins told the crowd that the Biden Administration had failed them and that American families were now paying the price.

She says President Trump understands the importance of addressing HPAI head on, and says USDA will take steps to support farmers in the coming weeks.
