America 250 Program Honors Farm Families

NASDA CEO Ted McKinney discussed the new initiative recognizing multi-generational farm families across the country.

ARLINGTON, VA (RFD News) — A new national initiative is recognizing farm families that have helped shape American agriculture.

USDA and the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture have signed a memorandum of understanding establishing the American Farm Legacy 250 Program.

NASDA CEO Ted McKinney joined us Thursday’s Market Day Report to discuss the initiative, which recognizes multi-generational farm families as part of the America 250 celebration.

McKinney says the program is designed to honor the families who have stewarded farmland across generations while preserving their stories for the future.
