ST. LOUIS, Mo. (RFD News) — Coinciding with America’s 250th birthday, Anheuser-Busch is encouraging consumers to support farmers by choosing products made with U.S.-grown ingredients.
The company is kicking off the campaign by launching the ComBar, a mobile bar built from a real combine harvester.
Chief Procurement Officer Damola Oshin says the ComBar is designed to highlight the connection between American farmers and the beer they produce.
He says that Anheuser-Busch sources ingredients from 700 U.S. farmers and invests about $700 million in American agriculture each year.
The ComBar will debut during St. Louis’ Fourth of July celebration before making stops across the country throughout the summer and fall.
