LINCOLN, Neb. (RFD News) — While classes may be on summer break, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln is welcoming families to campus through its Discovery Days event series.
Jordan Slagle with the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources joined us on Tuesday’s Market Day Report to discuss what attendees can expect.
In her conversation with RFD News, Slagle said Discovery Days gives families an opportunity to explore agriculture through hands-on activities while learning more about the university’s departments and research.
She says the free summer series also features themed events, including BugFest, which is aimed to help children discover potential interests and careers in agriculture.
