Justin Wilson’s Cajun Buttermilk Biscuits
Fluffy, golden, and full of Southern charm—these Cajun Buttermilk Biscuits from Mr. Justin Wilson are quick to make and impossible to resist!

Ingredients
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 1/4 cups of buttermilk
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475 degrees. Sift the dry ingredients together. Blend in the shortening and buttermilk and mix well.
- Roll the biscuit dough out on waxed paper covered with flour. Cut out biscuits with a biscuit cutter, pinch them off, and place them in a greased pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
