ROCKFORD, Ohio (RFD News) — An Ohio farm has created what it says is the world’s largest outdoor map of the United States using two million sunflowers.
Vaughn Davis of Schoolhouse Farms joined us on Monday’s Market Day Report to share the story behind the project and how it came to life.
In his conversation with RFD News, Davis explained how the idea evolved over four years into a large-scale tribute to America’s 250th anniversary. He also reflected on the growth of Schoolhouse Farms since its founding.
He also discussed the upcoming public display, which opens to visitors Aug. 6-7.
