NEW ORLEANS, La. (TWILA) — Vaucresson’s Creole Cafe has been a New Orleans staple for more than 125 years, with family recipes and local agriculture at the heart of its menu.
Vance Vaucresson continues the family’s sausage making tradition, while his wife, Julie, helps preserve generations of Creole recipes through the cafe and her cookbook.
The family says local shrimp, oyster and vegetable producers have been longtime partners in helping bring those recipes to the table.
Today, Vaucresson’s Creole Cafe continues serving recipes passed down through generations while celebrating the local producers who help make them possible.
