MOUNT PLEASANT, N.C. (RFD News) — What began as a supervised agricultural experience project has grown into an opportunity for one North Carolina FFA student to give back to his community.
Carson McQueen’s SAE centers on gardening with residents at a local nursing home, where he helps lead activities and care for the facility’s garden.
McQueen said the project taught him more about plants and the importance of serving others, lessons he hopes to carry into a future career.
