Recap: Midland County Junior Livestock Show

Midland County Livestock Association President Brandon Mitchell reflects on another strong year for the event, including a premium sale that once again topped the million-dollar mark.

MIDLAND, Texas (RFD NEWS) — The Midland County Livestock Show is officially in the books, marking a successful and exciting week for exhibitors, families, and organizers in West Texas. The highest-selling lot at the show was a champion white other purebred pig, which sold for $55,000.

Brent Graves with StockShowAuctions.com joined Brandon Mitchell, president of the Midland County Livestock Association, to reflect on another strong year for the event, including a premium sale that once again topped the million-dollar mark.

While the Midland County Livestock Show has wrapped up, coverage now shifts to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, which runs through February 7. Viewers can catch continued stock show coverage on Rural Evening News and Market Day Report.
