Senator Lee Anderson Champions Georgia Agriculture

The longtime farmer says his connection to the land continues to guide his work in Atlanta.

GROVETOWN, Ga. (Farm Monitor) For Georgia State Senator Lee Anderson, farming and public service have gone hand in hand for decades.

Anderson says the lessons he learned on his family’s farm continue to guide his work in Atlanta, where he advocates for the agriculture industry.

He says having agriculture represented at the state level is one of the best ways to ensure producers have a voice in policy and that staying connected to the land remains a defining part of who he is.
