Louisiana Twins Aim High in 4-H Shooting Sports

Years of practice and friendly competition have helped Kaitlyn and Kelsie Naquin earn a trip to the national championships.

BATON ROUGE, La. (RFD News) — Louisiana twins Kaitlyn and Kelsie Naquin have found success in the 4-H Shooting Sports program through years of hard work and sibling competition.

The sisters qualified for the national championship in air pistol after first becoming interested in the sport by watching their older brother compete.

The twins said practicing together has helped them improve while also fueling a friendly rivalry that pushes each of them to do their best.

While qualifying for nationals is a major accomplishment, the sisters said the friendships they’ve made and the experiences they’ve shared through 4-H are what they’ll remember most.
