NASHVILLE, Tenn. (RFD News) — Tennessee 4-H has elected a new group of state officers to represent youth across the organization.
President Calleigh Phillips and Vice President Ben Jackson joined us on Monday’s Market Day Report to discuss their new roles in 4-H.
In their conversation with RFD News, Phillips and Jackson reflected on being elected by their peers and the opportunity to represent more than 157,000 Tennessee 4-H members. As state officers, they will also help younger members develop their own leadership skills.
Both plan to continue their involvement in agriculture beyond 4-H. Phillips hopes to pursue agricultural engineering, while Jackson plans to study production and beef science.
