HIGGINSVILLE, Mo. (RFD News) — A sixth generation Missouri farm is connecting consumers to their food by growing white corn destined for grocery store shelves.
GR Farms has been growing food grade white corn for nearly 30 years. The crop is shipped to Kansas City, where it goes through inspections before being used in products like tortilla chips.
The family says every step, from planting the seed to documenting production practices, is important to producing safe food and knowing where the end product comes from.
