Rebecca Walker Named 2026 Illinois Beef Association Member of the Year

Walker says the organization helped strengthen her confidence as a producer and advocate for the beef industry.

Altamont, Ill. (RFD News) — Cattle producer Rebecca Walker was recognized for her dedication to the beef industry as the 2026 Illinois Beef Association Member of the Year.

Walker joined the Illinois Beef Association to become more involved in the agricultural community and says the organization has helped build her confidence as both a farmer and an industry advocate.

The award was presented during the Illinois Beef Association’s annual meeting in Springfield and recognizes members who go above and beyond to support the organization and the Illinois cattle market.
