Western Video Market Sale Brings Record Prices

Tight cattle supplies and continued consumer demand for beef helped support one of the industry’s largest summer video auctions.

RENO, Nev. (RFD News) — Western Video Market’s largest summer video auction brought record prices as tight cattle supplies and continued consumer demand for beef kept the market on solid footing.

Company leaders say long-standing relationships with consignors and buyers have helped drive the sale’s success over the past 35 years.

They expect high prices to remain as limited cattle supplies continue.
