Young Exhibitor Takes 1,700-Pound Bull to Arkansas State Fair

At 60 pounds, Hazel Burns is showing a Red Angus bull nearly 30 times her size.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (RFD-TV) — At just 60 pounds, one young livestock showman is proving she can handle an animal nearly 30 times her size.

Arkansas Farm Bureau introduces us to Hazel Burns, who is in her fourth year showing livestock and her second year showing Bandit, a 1,700-pound Red Angus bull.

Her family says Hazel puts in the work and keeps coming back to the show ring, regardless of whether she wins or loses.

Hazel is showing in several competitions at this year’s Arkansas State Fair.
