From Stem to Wine Stem: Learn the ins and outs of the winemaking process

Are you interested in starting a winery or wine business? Well, the process of making fine wine can be a little overwhelming, but one thing you can look for help with is a winemaking certificate.

This certificate provides an understanding of the winemaking process, grape growing, chemistry, winery equipment, mixology, bottling, packaging, and labeling of a final wine product.

Grady Wann is an instructor and program director of the Winemaking Certificate Program at UC Davis and has been teaching for ten years, helping students understand the chemistry behind the winemaking process.

The program can take students anywhere from 18 months to two years to complete.
