Missouri Producer Recognized for Lifetime of Beef Industry Service

Glen Klippenstein was recognized for his leadership in the Hereford breed and his role in advancing the national Beef Checkoff program.

MAYSVILLE, Mo. (RFD News) — Lifelong Missouri cattle producer Glen Klippenstein has been recognized for decades of leadership and service to the beef industry, receiving the Cattlemen’s Beef Board’s sixth annual Beef Checkoff Visionary Award.

Throughout his career, he helped build a nationally recognized Hereford operation and became an early advocate for the national Beef Checkoff program.

Industry leaders said Klippenstein’s leadership has left a lasting impact on the beef industry.
